Dead Battery

Low Tire Pressure
When the thermometer begins to drop, your tires are far more likely to lose pressure. Not only will low tire pressure result in decreased gas mileage, but it may also cause your vehicle to handle poorly. Ideally, the tire pressure should be checked every three weeks.

Poor Heating
In order to stay warm, your vehicle needs to produce an adequate amount of heat. If you notice that your heater is blowing out cool air, you need to get the cooling system inspected immediately. While some vehicles may suffer from a coolant leak, there are others that have a failed thermostat.

Icy Windshield
Your vehicle’s windshield needs to remain clear at all times. Like a worn set of wiper blades, a malfunctioning defroster can cause poor visibility. These components are critical during the winter months.
