If your automobile is experiencing trouble, be sure to get
it repaired as soon as possible. Here are four signs that your automobile
needs to be repaired.
Exhaust Smoke
Exhaust smoke is never a good sign. While black smoke usually indicates a problem within the fuel system, bluish-colored smoke stems from an oil leak. Not only will exhaust smoke ruin your car’s resale value, but it can also lead to a failed emissions test.
Hesitation
If you experience hesitation while accelerating, this is definitely a problem that needs to be fixed. Your vehicle’s poor performance can actually cause a crash. Some of the common causes of hesitation include worn spark plugs, low-quality gasoline, and a vacuum leak.
Hard to Crank
There are plenty of things that can make a vehicle difficult to crank. However, a weak battery is often the main culprit. This is especially true during the winter. To rule out the battery, have it tested by a service center. Bad ignition wires can also cause cranking issues.
Vibrating Steering Wheel
In the event that your steering wheel starts to vibrate, have your tires inspected immediately. Often times, the excess vibration stems from an unbalanced tire. In an effort to balance out the tire’s air pressure, wheel weights are placed between the rim and tire. Unfortunately, these weights can suddenly fall off after a while.
